Map and Directions: Historic Poplar Lawn Park
Filled with historic homes of a variety of architectural styles. Poplar Lawn Park, only a few blocks from the downtown area, is at the center of the district. Poplar Lawn is also the site of a stone basin, five feet in diameter with an oval excavation 12 inches across and 12 inches deep. It is known as "Pocahontas' bath".
